Hello all,
wonder if you can help. After a recent PSU failure I'm left with my motherboard beeping at me to tell me that theres problems with the video card during POST.
I'm meeting a brickwall in that I've installed an arctic cooler on the card to improve cooling and mislaid the stock heatsink=no warranty.

Being an AIW its got a funny shaped heatsink, does anyone know where/how to get hold of these?
Can I flash BIOS to see if theres anything left in the card?

My setup;
abit nf7-s rev. 2.0
9800 aiw modded to pro
maxstor HDD

It sounds like your GFX card MAY have been a casualty of your PSU Failure(Im assuming the 9800SE uses a Molex like regular 9800s). Only other thing that comes to mind is that the replacement PSU may not have enough juice(make sure its on its OWN Molex connector if possible)

if thats the case is the card a definite dud, nothing not even BIOS flashing can bring it back?
