Omg Stalker Doesnt Work :(

i just went to the mall and bought stalker and now that its installed when i start it up an xray engine message comes up that says it detected a crash. ive been so excited to play but now i cant does anyone have any suggestions??????:D help@!:cry:

Mabye reinstall it? Do all other games work? Do you have a second rig you could play it on?

stalker wont play on my setup...even on minimum settings it still drags...:shadedshu

On my setup it runs on 1280*1024 with framerates between 20-40 outside id say. This is on the high detail preset, AF close to max and AA halfway. Now i find that very bizarre.

One possible explanation for it is the dynamic lighting. I turned that upto full yet saw no difference in game. No pixel shader 3 is probably responsible for that.

So basically, turn that off and see how you get along.

i dont know what it is but i cant seem to run this game with decent framerates,not sure why..hopefully i can figure it out but it seems even if i sli both of my cards i cant play it
