How to physicaly tell the number of pipelines

Hi everyone, ive been come to this forum for sometime now but i just never registered.. i want to know if theres anyway i could physicaly tell by lookin at the PCB how many pipelines there are and if they are laser cut or not. Im thinkin about getting http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=320814&affiliate=pricegrabber that card and i heard that alot of x800 pro cards have the 4 pipelines laser cut.

you cant see the number of pipelines by looking at the card, well when you have a lasercut you know that i has 12 or 8 pipes depending on the cut's position

if you dont have a lasercut the bios still can enable different number of pipelines

looking for a lasercut requires to remove the heatsink
