It is a rather request, but if I can anywhere find an answer it will probably be here...
PLX don't ask questions, just answer me how can I fry 6800GS so it will not work, but there won't be any visible traces of burning, melting or other things...
I want it to NOT to work!
Please answer... Thank you all in advance.

Abit cheeky registering on a forum and asking that kind of unethical question, as you are obviously wanting to rma the card!

If you don't already know, you shouldn't be bothering with it in the first place.

Simply, edit the bios and increase core voltage. If you can't wait for it to actually die mess with memory timings so it's very unstable. That should do the trick as well.

I have found that by connecting two stranded 18 gage wires to a car battery and "sweeping" the back of the card with them both at the same time does a great job of destroying the Intregated Circuits on any/all circuit boards. Just be carfull that you do not burn your hands by creating a direct short to the battery!!

you should go dig a hole and throw yourself in it, cuz you are the kind of person that makes card prices higher....
get some ethics... and i hope your do this, and they find out, and refuze your rma, so your stuck with NOTHING!!!!

lol good reply D.. If you didnt want it when u got it why not just rma it and say it's not compatible? you don't have to destroy it..lol.. just say "hey this doesnt work in my comp, please refund, or switch it out".. then at least you don't rob someone of their hard earned money. I mean I'm dreading the day newegg comes out and says " we're sorry but due to a high enflux of rmas and returns we must now increase our prices.. no company stays in business if they loose money and all will up rates before going out of business..

exactly, or they end there wonderful service by doing a 30day only exchange/refund policy, i personly like the one full year!!!
that way if a product really DOES break from normal use it CAN be replaced, or refunded if not avail

LOL a tutorial on burning the card :P
This is what you do, Take off the GPU heatsink and turnon the computer. lol:toast:
you know, this reminds me of what happened in Florida after our last hurricane bout.. when all the little cochroaches came out and started breaking their roofs and cars to collect insurance and it put companies out of business. now all we have is a very few home mortgage companies at ridiculous rates and the same for car insurance..
it's the same principal.. If you false claim losses someone is going to loose, and it is never the corporation.. not if they can help it and they always do, on the customers arse.. :shadedshu
