my css it RILLY RILLY SLOW to load it sits on RETRIEVING SERVER INFO for about 5 mins then take's about 2 mins to send my client info.

its never been this slow befor. ive reinstalled steam and css. :mad: :cry:

any idears?

Depends entirely on the server and your connection. Sometimes I'll sit and wait for 10minutes to connect, other times I'll connect within 30seconds. There really isn't much you can do, except try restarting your modem and not downloading.

also try defragging your css open games list right click css then properties its somewhere there you'll find it

Steam has a shit load of updates today.

Also, try signing out and then signing back in.
Or as said before it could just be the server.
Try other ones.

Oh no... what did Valve add now? I'm afraid to start up Steam since I don't want it dl'ing more useless things like the new chatbox...
