damn thats a nice oc, a full 1000 points difference in 3dmark aswell :toast:

In other words, when overclocked, it is about as powerful as an x1950XT. The 8800GTS can break 10,000 in 3dmark06 when overclocked.

Which card is the 8600gts supposed to be? Last time i checked there were 8600gs/gt/ultra.

Those scores arent that special. Look at the FPS for the game tests, their about the same as a X1950Pro, that score is largely comprised of the CPU score, whuch is just shy of 4000pts.

True, that's what I hate about 06. In 05, as long as the CPU (and ram etc) did not bottleneck the GPU, it didn't do much to the score, but 06 is partially based on the CPU. I can see the need for this, but that's why there used to be a CPU score that was independent of the 3dmark score.

That being said...my x1950XT (that died and was replaced by and 8800GTS that kicks its arse) scored better than that card in SM3.0/HDR but worse in SM2.0. That's odd. See below.

You got less of a CPU score at +1 ghz over that guy at VR Zone... I'm guessing these scores are more fakes.

Errr just noticed he has a quad core. Nvm...

Maybe the other guy's QX6700 processor has to do with something?
