I built this computer about two years age. After about a year my video card a powercolor radeon9800SE, the video started to have line, and then my computer would not boot at all
It beep many times and that was it. The motherboard book said the number of beep was a bad video card. I return it and they replaced it. I installed it and it work great for about six mouths now i have line that come and go, you can not do anything to graphic and it gets lines in the display. I am going to get someone to put my card in another computer in a day or so. What help can you give me? If the card is bad I can send it back but it take about two to four weeks to get back and how long will it last. Should I buy a different make card.
I am running windows drivers i installed new ati driver it made it worse.

get a replacement card from manufacturer then find out why your system is burning them out. my guess would be if your not changing any of the settings trying to overclock it, then your power supply isn't giving it enough power.

ps - next time you give the computer details don't copy the system info page just tell us the details of the components you installed when you made it.

I am not over clock any think that I did know about. :twitch:
My power supply is a jpc-450-12v 450W max
450w should be ok ??:ohwell:

What could be burning up my card?:ohwell:
Should I send my video card and my motherboard RMA?

i assumed you had no dust buildup inside your computer or you would have mentioned this but if you did you may have heat issues over time. hows your airflow through the case? do you think you may be overheating card during gaming?

the problem was a power supply so far
