Hi, Moss!
Gigabyte GA-8I945GZME-RH is a good board. If you want to play a "middle class" games, It's possible. but not for hardcore games like quake 4!
This board is very simple in designs (micro-ATX) and less overclockable!
To be frankly, I own 3 series of Gigabyte board on my office. one of them is Gigabyte GA-8I945GZME-RH.
And It's the most old version one! :)
But, Gigabyte GA-8I945GZME-RH is pretty stable then the others. I often leave it on for weeks for downloading movies but nothing goes wrong.
This board is wonderful for office uses.
Mid Range board?
Try ASUS P5NSLI ("http://www.kqzyfj.com/2666wktqks7AB8FCDE798CC8GHF?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.n ewegg.com%2FProduct%2FProduct.asp%3FItem%3DN82E168 13131032%26ATT%3D13-131-032%26CMP%3DAFC-C8Junction&cjsku=N82E16813131032" ).
I have tried it for 3 months for hardcore gaming system. Nothing goes wrong. SLI ready. I use 2 graphic cards of Geforce 7300GS together. Fit like twins and work wonderfully!
