I have a BFG 7900gs OC which has a GT chip. I knew this a couple of months ago when I was able to enable pipelines 5 and 15 in Rivatuner. This last weekend I replaced the stock hsf. After cleaning off the GPU, it was indeed verified to be a GT chip! OK, I was very happy about this, but I wanted to make sure the performance was truly GT performance, and hopefully have my PC fully recognize it as a 7900gt. So, I attempted to flash the card with a BFG GT bios. I received an error that the bios did not match the card. So, I rebooted into windows and found the screen would flash on and off. I then reflashed to the original 7900gs bios, and everything was fine. Anyone know a way to truly flash this to a 7900gt, since it is in reality a GT GPU? Also, does anyone know of a softmod to increase voltage on this card to increase the clock speed? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance!
