Hi all
If any one has seen my posts before you will realise im on a steep learning curve at the moment when it comes to all things OC'ing with that in mind I could do with some help with my Graphics, Card and how to if possible OC it... (XFX say it is OC all ready)
The NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT
NVIDIA’s new GeForce 7800 GT GPU is based on the same graphics
core technology that powers the 7800 GTX, with a few minor changes
such as number of processing pipelines accessible and clock speeds.
Here is a comparison table on the specs of both parts.
7800 GT 7800 GTX
Core Clock 400 MHz 430 MHz
Memory Clock 1.00 GHz 1.2 GHz
Pixel Pipes 20 24
Vertex Pipes 7 8
Memory 256 MB 256 MB
What we basically have here is a slightly down-clocked and down-piped GTX core
and a new name and price point.
Many thx in advance any help will be gr8tly recived even if its RTFM lol
cheers
