so i just ordered new mobo from ebay a Abit AV8 i was looking through some of the specs on there site happened accost the cpu compatibility page and it didn't list any opty support

this would throw a wrench in my plans of buying an opty 185 for my system are they compatible with all 939skt mobos

the av8 says it supports the fx 60 so im figuring they are just want to be sure

i just got my opty 185 3 days ago, pretty pleased so far, also got some coollabs liquid metal pro, better than ASF, similar price too.

I can go V low voltage on stock frequencies, down to 1.125V stable, have it over 3ghz atm, tho i get a pretty big temperature spike when i have to pump more vcore into it. Lucky im pelt cooled, but the voltage needed for 3.2Ghz + reaches 35C, and thats on a PELT!! normally it reaches 15C load on this dual core lol, damn it would b nasty on air. good luck with ur build, ull b happy with the 185

I always do my taxes early so I can get a jump on my tech purchases ASAP. Good luck with your build, waiting is a bitch though.
