I had X1650 Pro installed before. After reading few reviews, I decided to upgrade to the X1950Pro. I uninstalled the old driver, and installed the lastest 7.3 for X1950Pro. Howewver, every time I boot up the computer, it keeps asking me to install the driver for X1950Pro. Under Device Manager, there are 2 yellow "!" marks; PCI and Unknown (1950Pro hardware). I also updated the latest BIOS driver. That did not fix the prob. Is it a bad card?

Have you tried the drivers on the cd with the same results?

Try using Driver cleaner Pro, after you uninstall the old driver with the ATI uninstall utility. Boot into Safemode, run driver cleaner pro (WDM, Ati Display Driver, uninstall, etc) and then do a clean reboot. Load the Driver CD in your disc and install that driver. Reboot, and try that. If it works, then you can try the 7.3 Catalyst drivers again. If it dont, then you know the problem lies with the 7.3 drivers you downloaded and you can contact ATI/AMD about them.
