Ok Im building my first computer and had bought a Raidmax ninja case from Newegg. I got it and things were busting off, the mobo plate was flimsy, and just all around a bad case. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good case. I was kinda liking the NZXT guardian case. But not quite sure yet.

Here are my guidlines:
1.) I would prefferably like a side pannel
2.) kinda want a power supply with it,(450w is fine with me)
3.) Want some neons, somewhere on the case.
4.) Would like the color of the case to be a solid color(black, blue, silver), not to crazy or anything.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Sorry dude not up on my cases lately but there are some awesome one's out there, just gotta be patient.I built my 1st one like 5 years ago and wouldnt have it any other way. It's a Black MidTower case with a cutout of a Spiderweb on the left side where my neon Blue light fan, lighting can shine through. Then I went after a 550 watt power supply again neon blue.I want to say it was by DEMON and I believe TigerDirect had it some 2 years ago.Now to round everything out I've gotten a Saitek keyboard off Ebay which has the lightup blue keys and a Razor Diamondback mouse..you guessed Blue lighting with a computer chip in it,also off Ebay, gaming mouse was the order of the day here.Sorry I cant help you more but obviousely you wanna get a case for looks, will hold up,expandability.Good luck!! The PSU that comes with any case is a generic PSU that is crap.
No matter what you are going to have to get a good PSU seperate from the case.

It would be helpful if you could tell us how much you want to spend on a case.

As for NZXT, they make good cases.
I currently have a NZXT Nemesis Elite and the fans are really quite and they keep the system cool (3 120mm fans).

Ok thanks for the advice Bruins. Um, I would like to spend anywhere between $50-$100. Not to much more.

(side note) Bruins, i see you have a dracula case thats black. I really liked that case but could only find a blue one on newegg. Where did you get yours, and is it worth the money?

I see your like me and like Pre-modded cases.
Take a look at these cases:

Apevia X-Gear - It has plenty of airflow to offer. It only comes with 2 80mm fans (1 side and 1 top), but you can add 1 to the front and 2 to the back. Plus these fans are Blue LED fans with a nice side panel and an alien grill.

RaidMax Scorpion - This is a pre-modded case and the bays (for the DVD and CD Drive) are hidden behind a small door. This has a side (in the window) and 2 back 80mm fans. One can be added to the front of the case (which would def. help airflow).

Apevia Xplorer - There are quite a few different colors for this case. It has a window with an air duct (can add an 80mm fan), a top 80mm fan and a back 80mm fan. You can add another 80mm fan in the front to improve airflow.

NZXT Nemesis
This is one of the cases I have (but I have the Elite version). It comes with 3 120mm fans and is relatively quite. This is their more modern version of the NZXT Guardian which is also a nice case

Logisys Dracula Case
My other case which is a pre-modded case. This case has a rear 120mm fan and a side 80mm fan in the window. You can install another 120mm fan in the front of the case.

Logisys, Apevia (formely aspire), and raidmax (these specific ones) are flimsy and cheap, they may look cool but their functionality is limited, if you want a really nice case (thats a premod) go with a thermaltake or a coolermaster, the TT psu's arnt too bad either

one with psu (wouldnt reccomend this specific one, because of plastic door, remember that anytime you go with plastic you risk it breaking)

Tsunami is what i would reccomend to you, extremely sturdy and lots of room for hd expansion, cathodes, etc. Also has lights if your looking for that, very nice case have one for my p4 rig for lans because of locking front bezel and windowed pannel.

also the armor series is decent

not my favorite cooler master but they are extremely rugged and sturdy

coolermaster wavemaster are sturdy aswell as good looking

Anyway Im not sure where I got it.I sure do like it,too bad it's hidden in a computer desk. When this winds up though it sounds like an airplane taking off.Runs well as I just upgraded my processer like 2 years ago but wouldnt mind having a 64 bit processer. WASP

Ya Im staying away from raidmax. I know from experience that those are crap. I really like that Nemisis, but i guess its discontinued. The Tsunami is also pretty cool, but a bit to spendy for me.

Ok if i went with a case that doesnt have a power supply what brands are decent?

Anybody know if crazypc is a good site found one there that i like (and in my price range)

Go for the Antec Nine Hundred. Great case, great cooling, ample room. Get yourself a good PSU as well.

He wants to keep it $100 and below.
That case is hard to find in-stock below $100.
