Flashed my power color 9600 pro to xt

i have the L shaped samsung ram same as xt, so i decided to try it, and it worked went from 398/338 to 500/338 with no artifacts! my computer temps are still normal. it just seems to good to be true, has any body else done a dramatic overclock that seemed to good to be true. i mean my core speed went up 102 mhz, is this a slow burner? Or did power color just underclock the card just to sell the xt.

geting 127 fps in half life 2 at 800X600 high and between 40 & 100 fps at 1024X728 high

athlon xp 2500+ (2004 mhz overclocked at 364 mhz fsb)
1 gig ram at 292 mhz
ata133 7200 hd
msi nforce2 main board
power color 9600 pro (flashed to XT) cat 5.4 drivers

You have the PC 9600pro bravo edition. I've had the PC 9600pro (400/300) 4 months, haven't tried to flash it, but it worked oc'd all the time at 500/350.

the next day after oc -ing the 9600 pro vpu recover was activated like 4 times in an hour, so i dropped the core speed from 500 to 475, no vpu recover activated now.

flashed my x800pro to xt worked all.
then i oc to 600 max it worked.
from 475 to 600 dont know why
