I managed to get a 9500 128MB with 'L'shaped memory off eBay a few months back.
It's made by Grandmars. It already had RAm sinks fitted to it, and I have added an Artic cooler for better cooling.
I have so far managed to clock the Core to 400. But the Memory which normally is at 276 will not go any higher than 280.
I get 5584 in 3DMark03.
Any ideas on how to get more out of it?
Thanks in advance guys.

mmmm They seem ok but I guess I will have to check.
heheh still get a higher score in 3DMark03 tho'
Unless its because my Mem is the 3.6 speed. Some cards have faster Mem. :(

I had an 3.3ns with sucky ram-HS, got it to 307MHZ stable.
try putting some extra thermal paste on the ram is my advise.
or try another BIOS, if the ram-timings are to aggresive with your new bios, it can get ugly.
I once was experimenting with it, and while I got the same preformance, I only got the ram up to 273MHZ.
flash it with an 3.6ns bios!

Same with my 9500->9700 card. With the stock heatsink/fan, core will be stable at 360 but the memory won't reach its theoretical max. I took a system ram heatsink and chopped it up and made 8 bga ramsinks and put them on the card and the max memory increased from 280 to 288. I have 3.3ns Infineon ram on it, which means the theoretical max speed of the memory is 303mhz. Yet it doesn't go over 290 without artifacts, with the core overclocked. When the core is at the default speed of 277, the memory can hit 295 without artifacts, which is all I would expect of it. I guess when you have the core overclocked so high the memory gets affected too.

Yeah, just looked on the BIOS database and it looks like mine is 276 / 270
Infineon 3.3 as well. Will put the Core back to standard and try to up the Mem some more.
thanks for all the info.
