Need The Oblivion.exe

MY oblivion.exe in the games directory is broken and I don't wna reinstall so can someone email it to josh0079@gmail.com or go on msn and send it to me(joshmcmillan@hotmail.com is my msn). Also I mainly want the v1.0 but if someone has the updated one(1.1 or 1.2) send it but just let me know in the email what version it is(if you don't know I can find out). The oblivion.exe is also on the dvd.

Please help me!

Ok. This is pretty obvious what happened...

You downloaded it.
Deleted image file
You overwrote the exe with the cracked one.
You tried to patch it and it failed.

If that is what happened, you need a reinstall, the exe cannot save you.

Edit: *TPU does not support piracy I'm pretty sure... Bad boy... :D

But I never said I pirated it. Is no-cd patches ilegal? They make the games run faster and you don't need to find the dvd too play it.

All you had to say is I lost it, but I do think this is justified for you to download the game IF AND ONLY IF you have the key. If you don't... meh, we will have to figure out a LEGAL way to do this.

Oblivion doesn't have a key. Or any software copy protection. Bethesda took a leap of faith in its fans. The same thing that happened to this guy happened to me, except I still have the disc, I'm just too lazy to reinstall right now.

You can isntall IE7 on illegal Windows as well, updating works just fine as long as your key isn't banned.

thats my take on it too pinchy, for all those holyer than now get a life maybe he does actually own the game like he said and his dvd got damaged/lost it does happen and i aswell as a lot of people i know use no-cd's to play my games because i dont want to insert a cd everytime i play a new game :wtf:

Well my windows is legal...If it was pirated why the hell would I be using OEM Home??? If I was gna download something I wld get the best! Most games run smoother if you get a no dvd patch.. Not all games because some games only make you put the dvd in purely for security purposes..

I don't need it anymore!! There was a bug at one stage in the game were the witch wouldn't take an ingrediant for a vampire cure and when I tried to update it too fix bugs it said wronge .exe coz mine is a no dvd one to make the game go smoother. I couldn't find the original so I asked on this forum.. Knowone could help untill I had already resorted to cheating in the game to get past that point(after I got a few emails with the .exe)
And as for having pirated windows if someone can tell me a way too proove it I will. My cd is burnt but I own the CD Key...I would take a picture of the sticker on the side of the case but it's an old case that has a 1ghz celeron in it and it's packed away in boxes in the car shed. Any other way?

Just wanted to say that any form of cracking, no-cding etc, regardless of whether you own the game or not, is illegal.

Its a little something known as reverse engineering which is covered in pretty much every EULA ive ever read. Not that i read them anyway :roll: but its there!

I'm assuming that Josh is running a legal copy of Windows, and owns a legal copy of Oblivion. I also am assuming that Josh was trying to do some modifications to tweak the game, and lost the original .EXE. If you have the DVD/CD on you Josh, you should be able to manually search for it on the disk. If not, try applying a no-cd crack, which is legal, from gameburnworld (http://www.gameburnworld.com/).

And to everyone that thinks I'm going to mod-slap this guy....think again.
