Asus P5w Dh Deluxe Edition???

ASUS P5W DH DELUXE EDITION

This is the motherboard I want to buy here, in Argentina.
Please tell me some experiences with this motherboard.
It cost around u$s 280. I don´t know its price in USA.

The Motherboard has Crossfiretechnology. But both cards will work only at 8X at the same time? Is it true?
Could a possible Bios upgrade change it to 16X 16X with both cards working at the same time?

If the MB only has x8 for PCI-E, then modifying the bios won't change the number of PCI-E lanes available. It is a physical limitation of the chipset.

The Motherboard has two PCI-Express 16X ports, but the Asus Web page says that in Crossfire mode cards will work at 8x each one. That is why i was wonderding about a possible Bios upgrade to change that.

Do you know or heard some experiences about this motherboard? If it is good for overclocking or it is outsatnding for overclocking....

IF you purchase this MB make sure you get the latest rev.. 104g I think .. the above link will know for sure
