Unlocking Dell's MR9800 Pipes

In attempts to unlock the MR9800, we at Notebookforums.com have tried to unlock using modified bios. Until recently the project has been dead on account of damaged video cards from our attempts. Now, we have found out that there is a laser cut on the right side of the pcb (just opposite of the X800Pro's laser cut). A few of us have made the jump with a conductor pen to override the laser cut. We accrued no additional pipes as a result. When we dump the bios rom of the MR9800 and attempt to edit it with rabit v1.5, it is giving us a crc error. We believe that if we have the correct bios we should be able to get the full R420 16 pipes (unless bad pipes persist).
