Why would I want to down trade you ask? My Motherboard can only reach 300 fsb, so with a E4300 I can actually clock higher than with a E6300

E3600, with unused sticker :)
I HAVE overclocked it, and increased the volts by one level in the bios.
I have ran it at 2100 Mhz, my motherboard cannot handle much more than that, I have keept my temps in check (Below 50c)
I can post superpi/cpu-z screens upon request.

PM me please

Or you could save some bucks and get a Gigabyte DS3 (I've seen em for $100 US brand new!)...that would allow you to get more out of your 6300 and memory! Then sell your current board on flEbay for a few bucks (not sure what that board's worth new...but you could probably easily get $50-70 out of it)...and then you're only out half or less. The 4300's are good, but I am still a believer in the 6300's. I got mine to 3.36 stable (480fsb) with stock 1.32v! And that board is a good performer...tough to beat for the money!

Don't get DS3 Rev 3.3. I got 2 and both of them have trouble beyond 300fsb. I also got a rev 1 and it went up to 450 fsb. Get something else.

Its to do with your RAM, not the CPU. Drop the Ram frequency. Your timings are seriously limiting it.

yeah set your ram to 5-5-5-15 see how high you can go (kwwping an eye on temps), than tighten your timings some when you reach the Ghz you want :) I guess ram timmings dont help c2d much mhz does alot more.

Or, if the chipset allows, try unlinking the CPU and the memory bus speeds.

Nope, its an Matx board, the G957Ma Raid version (http://www.foxconnchannel.com/Product/motherboard_detail.aspx?id=en-us0000202)

It cant handle anything else, Getting it to 325 alone breaks most peoples (with this board) overclocks, the only faster matx board (LGA) is the Abit Fatal1ty FI90HD (http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/techspec.php?categories=1&model=339) before I get the "matx is not meant to handle overclocking." computers weren't meant to overclock either...and yet we do, and it rocks.

I will be buying the Fatal1ty board at some point, but not now. (Saving to buy a 8800 as soon as a friend buys my 7800.)

Also, the specific problem with my board is it does not have a real Pci lock, so if I go above say 280, I have to start raising the Pci clock, my raid cant handle anything past 118mhz, so ya.

Also, Im sure there is somone out there dieing to use vanderpool tech. (http://www.intel.com/products/vpro/description.htm) to run multiple operating systems but is stuck without it on there poor E4300...

I'm not a fan of that Fatal1ty stuff...overpriced and overrated for what you really get. I still say get a board more capable of higher FSB. You could sell your 6300 on Newegg, take that money and get a 4300...sure you're system would be down for a bit, but then you'd have what you want. I personally wouldn't trade, the 4300 takes more voltage to hit speeds mine will hit at stock voltages. But I see why you want it, and can't blame you due to your limitations...but if you're willing to get a different board, why not get one that can exploit the 6300?

And why do you want to stick with mATX??? Hell your vid card is probably half the size of your MB!

And why do you want to stick with mATX??? Hell your vid card is probably half the size of your MB!I second this. You can still find relatively portable regular ATX cases for cheap. In except all but the rarest of situations, mATX makes no sense for an overclocking enthusiast.

So lets recap- Keep your cpu, sell your board and case, and buy a regular ATX board and case.

I say get another motherboard instead

Because this is my baby,

I love it, alot, I go to a lan party, sit town with this little rig, every time someone comes up to me and is like, dude you have a matx rig here? whats in it a 6600 with a Turion Processor and 512mb of ram? Then Im like, actually I have a C2D overclocked 13% with 2gigs of ram and a 7800GT. (Those specs were a lot more impressive last year mind you)
So it is the wow factor partially, and really, I have never had problems with matx boards, there are just fewer choices, and im ok with that as long as there is a good choice.
Yes, the card is over half the case, I have 4in in the back, just enough room to fit a 2900HD, and because the hard drives are at the top of the case, the card would get direct cold airflow, the card would basically partition the case into two heat zones, it would make my computer run cooler.

I may of considered it if you were in the UK but as prices are so much higher here then I would have paid a fair bit more for my E4300 that you probably did for your 6300.....anyways, I go along with the get a new mobo and case solution but if your hell bent on an E4300 just fleabay your 6300?
