The 8600GTS is a crappy card.. why not spend a bit more and get a 8800GTS 320MB that will eat the 8600 for breakfast and use its bones to pick its teeth with? If not that, ATi offer plenty of DX9 cards that beat the 8600GTs for a lot less, and before you gripe on about the 8600GTS being DX10, allow me to inform you of a small detail; the 8600GTS is nowhere near powerful enough to run DX10 to any kind of acceptable level, couple that with the fact a real DX10 game is going to be at least another 6 months off, hence revised midrange cards which perform much better anyway in DX10, theres really no valid reason to buy the 8600GTS.

agreed...

8600 is no better than a 7600... so the performance and quality is not much better.

The 8600 can't even beat an X1950PRO. Look at my signature for what an 8800GTS 320 can do. That card is better than ten telepathic space monkey geniuses doing your homework for you.
