Ive got a 2 month old Pioneer 112D (black) DL DVDRW. Its burns DVDs without any problem (DVD-R and DVD+R DL) but recently I can not get a CD to burn correctly (be it audio or data)
The CD media Im currently using is DATASAFE 52x Silver Premium (non printable)
Its strange because at first I had trouble getting a CD to burn with this drive, so I lowered the write speed and it worked perfectly, but now it wont burn at any speed :confused:
Im currently using the most recent Pioneer official firmware (1.09) but I was wondering if I should update to one of the un-official firmwares that I keep seeing about the net (ie dangerousbrothers)
Has anyone used an un-official firmware and did it improve the drive at all?
