You can pick up a 8800gts320 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-054-OK) for £180 @ocuk and a 8800gts640 (http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=496748) for £215 @scan.co.uk
Ofc the 8600 are cheaper but the extra few quid the 8800 is a better buy :)

Yea that should run fine.
The only thing is that your CPU will prob. bottleneck the GPU, but you will be able to play any game
