okay, I have a (Sapphire RADEON X700 Pro PCI-E) (256mb) (425/432)
I have overclocked it to 500/460 and it works fine, no extra heat.
I was wondering is there any other way to get a better potential out of this card? A bios flash perhaps? Well, I was considering this but I am rather new to it, I don't know what BIOS to use, I do however have small knowledge of the flashing software, what BIOS would I use to flash a "(Sapphire RADEON X700 Pro PCI-E) (256mb) (425/432)" to something with a better potential that won't damage the card, and could you also tell me the risks of such a flash, thanks for your help guys.
Here is a screeny of Ati-tool, don't know if it helps.

A bios flash wont gain you any more performance besides changing the default clocks. I'd say your doing really good at what you got. Flashing the bios isn't worth doing besides to unlock pipes. The most the x700 has is 8p which you have. Hope it helps.

ATItool finds the best speeds your card can handle. You could try changing some of the memory timings, but again, do this in ATItool as it can be risky.

Well one way to get more performance out of the card would be to change your bus width to 256 bit in your bios, thats a 256 bit card you've got there I believe. :p ;) You might have to go into advanced options in your bios which can often be accessed by pressing Ctrl + F1 when in main menu of the bios. Hope that helps. :)

The current clock that you are getting is already pretty good. No point trying to flash your card to something else since there is no benefit for undertaking such a risk. :) Anyway, did you do a bench to see how it performs overclocked?

I am not sure if you can increase the bus just like that pal. The card is built with 128bit and its not something that we can softmod not hardmod. Correct me if I am wrong. :)

I don't think you can change it in most bioses - the only thing I can change in mine is aperature size. Would have thought that the bus width would be set independently of the bios by the card itself. Like you say anyway, its a 128bit card. Its the X700pro All In wonder that has 256bit memory bus.

The card has to have 256bit mem in order to go to 256bit, and if it was 256bit it would already be set because that is how the mem is made. None of the X700's has 256bit mem, as for the all in wonder x700 I don't think there is one. Changing aperature size wont effect the performance any as long as its not like 32mb. The only thing you can do to get more performance is set the clocks higher, but I don't think your gonna get much higher.

My bad, I thought they were 256bit cards. Often times motherboards will have 128bit set to default, atleast that's what mine did. I had to change it in the bios because I was wondering why I was getting worse scrores then normal on benchmarks, then I saw that it said 128bit in ATI Tool.
