http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20070516PD217.html . If it Barcelona comes out on time in July maybe Intel is trying to beat AMD to the punch hence the price drop at the end of July. It seems to me that Intel might have the Inside track and might think AMD will make this deadline. The Director of AMD's server divison says in this news peice that it's coming out in the middle of this year not in 08.

Any progress by any company is good news to me, maybe the amd chip will be a monster and intel will drop its prices even lower! :D
