Temopral AA

If I enable temporal AA in the control panel, then set it to application preference, does that turn temporal off? Or does it leave it on, just multiplying what the in-game AA is set to? e.g Temporal enabled, Application preferece AA. Doom 3 AA set to 2x. does that make it 2x temp, 2x real.. or just 2x real?

good question...it might leave it on, but i think it gets turned off....
