Lately upgrading your processor and planar results in buying a new videocard as well. Albatron decided to get rid of this problem once and for all, they introduced a true PCI-E to AGP bridge (http://www.albatron.com.tw/english/news/news_detail.asp?news_id=167). From the looks of it it might have some problems with full height cards, but most of us won't mind drilling holes in our case and call it a "mod";)
Unfortunately nothing is known about performance but there is no reason for it to differ from the built in bridges in todays cards.

Wouldnt be worth the price of the bridge to use a small form factor card.

Sweet...I think this will solve my problem of chosing a motherboard. I like the new DFI's but they are all PCI-E and I have have a fairly new X800 in agp. But I don't see how its going to fit, in my case any ways beside the mod. Any one got a idea of the price they might go for?
