Well for a CPU, it depends on how much you can spend.
Take a look at this thread under the CPU section. http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=30822
That mobo is a nice board (esp. since it is silent).
How much is that board?
Also, it doesnt specify if it run x8 x8 or x16 x16 in SLI.
Please note, that the 8800 series has a problem running x8 x8 in SLI mode.
As far as my point of view on SLI, it is a waste unless you have the top cards and need the best computer you can get :)
I used to love SLI, but it isnt worth the gains.
Also, if you want a good board from Gigabyte look at the Gigabyte DS3 board (there is no SLI, but its very good at OCing).
If you want SLI, I would only suggest the 680i motherboards (they cost around $200).
The 650i motherboards also have SLI, however they run in x8 x8 SLI mode and are not supported very well at all. So I wouldnt recommend them, but they are cheaper at around $120.
depends on the money you got (cpu)
and that's a intel chipset, i think it's not yet sli capable

It's speculation if it will support SLI... Hell, not even sure if Intel is supporting CF with the P35 chipset?
As for a CPU, what's your budget? If you are OC savvy, go with the E4x or the E2x series, they are CHEAP and have good OC potential with a higher divider (since stock bus speed is 800Mhz), though because of the IHS material, don't typically OC quite as well as the E6x series.

Hmm.. thanks for replies..... Hell i just saw the website. It says support for crossfire? Meh.... But i really like the ultra durable 2 stuff. What about a single x16 mobo then? I planned to get SLI mobo caused probably when i saved up i'll just get another GFX for future. Hmm... how about a SGD300 ram? Probably 2X1GB type.
(Note 1.5SGD=1usd)
SGD300 = 200USD

Oh yeah i looked up this website. Well if you guys have some recommendation motherboards i could probably get some. The budget for my mobo is around SGD500 and below. That's around 300+USD. No preference in processor and gfx type.
I could also probaby get a single x16 slot since that would restrain me from buying another gfx (yea self-control). The new computer i'm buying will be the first one i'll be really OC'ing. thus i'll learn from there. And no more stock coolers.

Alrighty guys how about a good single X16 PCI-E board?

The P35 board should reach 505+ fsb !!! If you don't plan on SLI, that board will run x16 PCI-E/.
It just runs x8 and x8 when you do crossfire.
Plus P35 is compatible with the new 45nm 1333fsb cpu's

Yea that board looks pretty solid.
If you want a cheaper, but quality board look at the Gigabyte DS3.

Ah i see.....what about the processor? Any recommendations? The board+proceesor i want could possibly reach up to SGD750. Meaning around 500USD. So with a single PCI-E x16 slot i guess that costs would go down.

I would wait like 2 or 3 more weeks for a processor as a lot of them are dropping 30% or more in price this month.
Where was that chart....

Sorry its july they drop...6 weeks:

I'd go for the P35 mobo and a 6540/6550 series CPU

Ah...so the E6550 would be good to go i guess? That would at least leave me with some more spare cash that i could invest on a quality ram.

to ENSURE compatibility, you would go with a P35 chipset for the E6550 b/c its 45nm and has 1333fsb.
From the little research I've done, you can't be gaunteed compatibility with the older chipsets (965, 650-680, etc). But if you really look into it, you could probably find an older chipset mobo that supports perynn
