i have set my gfx card stock,and my cpu is stock now.i am getting these glitches on all my games too,whatever settings i try.i have taken the cooler off the card and re pasted it.windows works fine.
the only differant piece of hardware in my machine is the crucial balistix pc5300c3 ram.
please help before i trash my pc or pull what hair i have left out.

I'd say the memory on that card is going tits up...is that the stock cooler?
Usually when you start getting artifacts like that with video, the video memory is having issues. You could try to reinstall drivers and dx9, but that may not help at all.
You've already tried complete system stock clocks, and if you're not getting BSOD's, I'm sure your Balistix is fine.

no bsods,windows is fine.its a zalman vf700-cu on the card with ram sinks.everything is stock.i've tried everything i can think of.
is there any way i can test the card?

Sorry to say, but your video card is F!@$ed...That's in IMO.

Well, you could us a multimeter and check your memory voltage...and run the normal plethora of 3d Benchmarks. Have you underclocked your memory to see if that helps? If it does then your memory is probably no longer capable of performing at stock let alone OC'd speeds. Is that card still under warranty?

i will try underclocking the video ram later.and let you know.

Looks like you hav flashed it with a bad bios to me, or gone to far with an OC.

i put my mates backup 6600 in and it is fine.
