I just ran this benchmark:

It looks like my AMD Athlon 6000 is holding me back. :banghead:

He'd have to move up to an FX chip or an E6700 C2D on the Intel side to possibly do any better so I doubt it's the X2 6000+ thats the sole reason for bottlenecking in his current system.

Oc the processor and the video card. I don't see why your system couldn't get over 11,000?

The CPU is @ 3014GHz but that score for the CPU seems low :confused:

The 6000+ could very well be stable @ 3.1GHz or even 3.2GHz but that would likely require water cooling.

Unfortunately that's as far as AMD Hammer goes.

Thats not the case, Trt had a 6000+ at over 3.5Gig on air, just an Artic Freezer 64Pro to be precise, he was getting well over 11,000 on 3D Mark 2006 (with a 320MB 8800GTS) and well over 1900 in Sceincemark 2.

Most likely he's running the 6000+ at stock , hence the lower score as Tatty said Trt had his at 3.5 ghz

I said in excess of 3.5 Gig, here is his score on the 3D Mark 2006 leaderboard, it's his 2nd, his highest is with the E6600, check out the thread for his CPU-Z screenie, it's about 3 pages from the end, I think he had it upto 3.6Gig for the SuperPI thread.

He ran it 3.5Gig 24/7....stable, he benched at 3.55Gig I beleive.
