View Full Version : Ok to mix coolants?
I will need a little more than comes stock with the Gigabyte GalaxyII.I also have a concentrate that came with my Koolance Exos,so I was wondering if{after diluting the concentrate} it would be safe to mix the two.

Mixing PC coolants is not recomended unless they are same type, manufacturer, and color. The different chemicals can cause "ADVERSE" reactions and possible dammage to pumps, flow meters etc.

Ok,..so what would be better,...to mix the concentrate a little thin with some extra distilled water or add a little distilled water to the Gigabyte premix?
I only need the extra amount to compensate for an extra radiator.
