UT2004 Multiplayer help

Hey, I just recently reinstalled Unreal tournament 2004, patched it, loaded up the ECE pack and tried to play online. The only problem is, whenever I join a server, the map is blank, all players are running ahead in a straight line, and I cannot spawn. This has never happened before, and I cannot figure out how to stop it. Anyone know how to fix this?

You could try completely unistalling it and the re-installing it again and then see if it works before patching it.

I'm at a loss. I've never incountered a similiar problem, and as a die hard Unreal tournement fan I've logged quite a few hours. The first thing I would try is re-installing the program, I know it takes time, but that is usually the simplest fix to an unknown problem.
