If you plan on lowering the timings to get a better overclock then it might be worth the pricing premium. From what I've read, the PQI Memory PQI3200-1024DPU is a superior overclocker in that respect. If you plan on running it at stock though, you may want to read this ram latency performance comparison article (http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1558,1637834,00.asp) .

There's a nice review of the Ultra X at Anandtech.com ... The Crucial Ballistic and the OCZ Pc3200 I think did well also ... all three can hit DDR500 or more ... :D

I wouldn't buy GEIL...
