Driver cleaner problem

Hello all, I need a little advice. I was using the cab cleaning tool in driver cleaner and windows ran into a serious error and needed to end the program. I used to have three cleaning choices: driver.cab, sp1.cab and sp2.cab. I now no longer have driver.cab because the utility was in the “writing new file” phase when it closed. Can I fix this? If so how? What if any problems will have from this? I am trying to avoid system restore for now unless I need to. Any advice is appreciated.

Think I fixed it. Just went to driver cache copied sp1.cab, renamed it to driver.cab and used cab cleaner to "clean" the files.

Hey guys I'm new at this so forgive my jargan. I wont to buy the best xp pro full version I guess that I can install as many times as I need to. for I have done a fresh install as hight as 4 times in one year because of viruses,Ect...But I don't wont to have to repay everytime I need to reinstall. I read somewhere to apply for a professional licence or corperate.That you can use it as many times as you like? Plus I think I have pirated copy of pro for now I can't install any active X even with excepting all cookies plus active x prompt. I don't won't to pay alot for xp pro but I do won't to be legal. can anybody help me out. they sell some with a heat sink at walmart at a good price but are they what I 'm looking for. Anyways, if you bought it at best buy it has to be a legal copy. What do you mena you dont want to pay to install it every time? Are you calling microsoft and buying a new cd-key every time or something? As long as it is only ever installed on one computer is is completely legal.
The problems you are having sound like your windows installation is not updated at all, try to go to www.windowsupdate.com
Do the express installs.

I just heard that a copy of xp can install tree times and then you have to buy another key. I know some that will install as many times as you need without calling. it will even install on different pc like my extra one here at home. there is some Guestions out their about oem and retail, and the one that lets say come with a new pc will only work with that pc. so I guess what Iam asking is if I buy a full version say from ebay at a discount still packaged with pin I should be alright? or walmart with some hardware bundle. Thanks
