My wife has an MP4 player and it doesn't support iTunes music formats. Is there any free software that converts these file types to wma or other supported windows media player formats?

this might help, once the music is converted to mp3, wmp's sync function should convert (if even required) to a compatible format

Another possible route is to burn the tracks to a cd within Itunes, and then just rip it. Thats usually what I do. Either way is delicious. :toast:

An mp4 player will play iTunes ripped songs, as long as it's not in Apple Lossless or AIFF, but it won't play Music Store songs by default.
