My town has a yearly 10 day concert series called SummerCel. I was there tonight and saw Weird Al :rockout:. It was an awesome concert I must say. In the next few days BB King, and George Thorogood will be playing. I can't wait!
Any of you guys have a concert deal like this in your area?

We have this thing called the "Eugene Celebration". Back in the eighties it was really cool, a big three day street party, no admission charge, TONS of people, and great bands.
Of course, now it's over-regulated, they charge money, the bands suck, and only a fraction of the people who live here go.
It sucks how something so simple and good gets taken over by bureaucrats, and what was once free and easy is turned into the experience of being a rat in a pre-planned maze.

Man, I would love to hear BB King live. Good stuff!!
Here in La Crosse (WI) we have Oktoberfest. Tons of bands, beer, college students, etc, you get the idea. It's right on the river, pretty sweet. People out in MI familiar with it?
I think "originally" about 80% of the people in La Crosse were of German descent... man, they love their beer!! :D
