Fellow audiophiles!
I need help. I have a few songs in my collection that don't sound so great, they sound a bit muted. So, I was thinking maybe there is a high quality equalizer I can download(preferably legally) that will make them sound better while I'm playing them. Usually I use Sound Forge, but it's overkill for this application, and I would prefer something that will work in conjunction with WMP11(the built-in one sucks, it's only got 10 bands).

Thanks,
~RM~

How about this, it's got more than a 10 freq break down?

I just use Winamp with the "Enhancer" add-in... maybe you should try giving that a try?

Here's the link for the enhancer if you want to give it a try: http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/81361

eh, maybe, but i would prefer something that works in conjuction with wmp11. winamp just doesn't appeal to me... i've used it before, and didn't really like it.:banghead:

You could set up your system to use ffdshow for decoding. It only has a 10band EQ, but it's fully parametric. I get ffdshow thru the Combined Community Codec Pack. The CCCP comes with a front-end for both audio and video settings for it. I'm not sure if the official release does or not.
