i have been haveing a flicker/studder with my 3d and 2d graphics after about 30 minutes into playing and intense graphics or my MS screensaver aquarium! i have replaced all my hardwear piece by piece thinking that i my have OC something to far, but, i just replaced the last item( the processor ) and i still have the flicker/studder. the only thing that i changed was upgrading to the new atitool. i went from atitool v0.26 to v0.27 beta1. i tried to uninstall the program but i still have the problem. I NEED HELP!!

Need a bit more info...Please fill out your specs in the usercp so we can see what components you are speeking of. Have you tried uninstalling ATITool altogether and see if it flickers.....Had the same issue when I clocked my 1950Pro too far and if it wasnt on driver level OC.

I assume you tried reinstalling drivers for GFX also?

GFX? do you mean the VGA card drivers? i uninstalled the nforce and the nvidia drivers. i also started haveing the flicker when i was running two geforce 7950 gt oc sli, which has a differant driver all together. so yes i tried that.

Sounds like you may want to address VGA manufacturer if there is a potential for RMA. If you have replaced everything but the card , common sense says its the card. As I see it, replace all parts , drivers, and diffrent versions of said drivers, Its the only thing left as I see it.

well the first item i replaced was the VGA cards. i went from the two 7950 gt oc to my current 8800 gtx oc2. is it possable for the VGA card to be bad....maybe!

wow sorry i missed that part. So in fact the mobo is the only thing not been changed?
On a different note, a little birdie says you may need to just change the refresh rate of your monitor!
