Mods:
Restructured Case with custom motherboard mounting holes, 70mm exhaust Fan, 120mm inlet fan, custom paint job, completely different computer parts, side case window (not from a kit), blue cold cathode light, custom back (and motherboard i/o plate).

Original PC: Dimension l866r (866mhz Pentium 3, 128mb PC133 SDRAM, 10GB Maxtor 5400RPM, Onboard Intel Extreme Graphics-Pentium 3 ERA, same sound card).
This is my first PC mod, and this whole build cost me <$50. I learned loads from this project including using a drill and jigsaw through metal, using a file and spraypaint, and adding custom motherboard mounts. I also have bettered my soldering/dremeling skills, but I still could use more practice.

Granted this isn't a modern 2007 gaming rig, but it runs RTCW well. I'll have some 3dMark01 scores with the 1337 video card (at least 1337 back in 2000) soon.

Go easy on the cable management ratings, because since this is an matx case, there is nowhere to hide crap.

No clue what that means...

Your psu is sat right over most of the cpu fan =/

That was how the l866r was originally designed. I actually reversed the cpu fan to blow outwards so that the power supply fan and the cpu fan work together to spit hot air out the back. Also, The cpu load temperature after 1hour of prime95 is around 104F, so it is no worry.
