sup dudes having a few problems with my rig

problem #1
random freezes while playing music and playing games

(this is the one im asking about) does anyone else with a x-fi have this problem cause the problem followed the card when i moved it from one pc to another so its either the card or the driver

problem #2
blue screens in windows mce (seperate problem im pretty sure mce glitch i think or ati driver issue) it usually references a ait driver .dll file in the blue screen just thought id mention this

all my hardware is fine ive stress tested it btw

the problem is with the card or driver(conflict) im sure cause my audigy2 works fine

1)Remove/clean ATI drivers
2)Search for ATI files/folders(windows "search-start menu)
3)Delete ATI found(R-click in search window one at a time from bottom up)
4)Defrag(to remove ATI"refference points", skipping this step will cause new install to start at fragmented ati file, not rewriting it)
5)Reboot
6)Re-Install ATI Drivers

This usually solves ATI Driver Conflict Isues.

Well from lookin @ that thread it sounds like either the card or the chipset might be getting to hot and overheating. Try putting a fan on the card(or blowing over card) and see if keeping it cooler helps.
