What paint did you use for that. I'm in the process of a case mod and all I have left is painting.

Hell yeah. It is a Sony manufactured Dell 19' Trinitron running 1600x1200@75hz. One of these days when I'm feeling brave I'm going to tear it apart and paint it flat black to match the rest of my setup. It may weigh 60lbs and take up most of my desk but you can't argue with free.

I am using the exact same CRT, cept mine is the sony brand. Arguably the best CRT monitor ever made. I love mine, but I might switch for a decent LCD. It is a heavy mother fu*ker though. Original retail price $1100, thrift store price $15.

Im using the same exact stuff. First I put Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Automotive Primer Spray then Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Metallic Spray the only problem is it dosn't come out glossy it comes out blothchy (there are nice smooth patches and there are rough patches) untill I use a Rust-Oleum clear coat

I put them right there to get them out of the way. That is the only spot I have where I could mount them backwards and hide the power and IDE cables. They run 35c whether they are actively cooled or not so there is no point to actively cooling them.

For the gloss black mine came out blotchy as well, and I currently have no money for clear coat. Once I get the cash im going to redo the exterior and hopefully get that mirror finish.

What do you mean it looked better before? I would like to know what I could do in your opinion to make it look better. Could you include your vote in your post also?

Well the cooling setup has been a work in progress since version 1 of this rig. I still need to reinstall my HR-05 SLI in there...

Can you give me some criticism as to how I can make the case a 10 in your opinion?

Bump!

New hard drives got here today. 7200.10 250gb sata2 seagate perpendicular recording, two of them! I'm trying to figure out how to install them along with my current 2x80's but i either need to put them in 5.25 bays with adapters or remove my hr-05 sli and use a hdd bay.
