Okay I'm really sick of my 2 linksys routers needing to be power cycled and my connection going to hell all the time...
Time for a new router...
What do you think
Dlink wired load balancing $100
Dlink gaming router $100
or should I just give it up and buy a cisco on ebay or something?
Any other in house names that may be worth looking at?
Please NO crap.... No no names *unless they are one of those that are a copy of a good name*
I really need strong reliability again..

what linksys routers did you have? If you have updated the firmware every now and then you shouldn't have any issues.

yeah, the linksys ones are usually pretty decent..
But cheap cisco's FTW.

I would check how old your modem is before you jump to blaming the router, if its anything like mine the modem is ancient.

Ohh its the routers...
I have the old 11b wireless router... Too lazy to check model, I have tried all the different firmwares, it just wont get stable... Some of the new G ones can easily be fixed by older or third party firmware...
Modems are all brand new and Motorola's... No problems at all plugged directly in, or when I run them through my friends Dlink G wireless.. I just need a good router finally get rid of this half rate crap...
I think I'm just going to buy the cisco...

Well I wouldn't say that... Netgear isn't that bad for most general home users... I'm just starting to be a stickler about high quality high reliability.

I used to have the latest ZYXEL and the latest LINKSYS....However with the ISP in now either of them could Re-Connect on their own so i had to get a Netgear...So for This ISP netgear is awesome. However i still think that ZYXEL is TOP.
