RealFlight RC Flight Simulator G3, http://www.realflight.com/products/g3_main.html
saved that good way to learn to fly an rc plane instead of crashing a newly bought one.

I've gotta cheap RC helicopter, battery powered I'm practicing with before I use my 4ft nitro powered one I built. The RC was like $50, and it lasts about 30 mins on a charge, it can take a few hits without problems too, ahh modern day plastics....they are soo much better.
As far as a decent flight sim, hell I rarely ever play one, the last flight game I played was Ace Combat 5 for the PS2. It was fun, but not completely "realistic". I'd say the new MS Flight Sim, but I hear it's sys req's are steep, a few guys at my work built a PC for it and play it at lunch, it looks cool but I really have no interest in it. I don't think there's a whole lot on them because there's not a huge demand in that market, or maybe I'm overlooking it because I don't have a demand for it. But I'd say if you want recent and most realistic, MS Flight Sim X will probably fit the bill! Hope that helps!

FSX only once the DX10 patch comes out for it and you have a DX10 capable GPU.
My bro has a High end C2D, Corsair XMS memory and a eVGA 8800GTX on Vista Ultimate and the game runs 10 to 20 less FPS than on XP.
Older games run pretty damn bad on his rig.
Games run REAL crap on Vista at the moment and who knows how long it's going to take before the drivers are matured, for me . . .not quick enough, but it's understandable those who can remember how XP ran when it first came out.
FSX or FS 2004 or FS 2002 or Xplane...all are good.

No it doesn't. It comes with it's own USB controller :) It's pretty realistic.
I fly the large RC aircraft. (70" wingspan Patternship, powered by a YS 110FZ engine [18cc Supercharged, 4-stroke glow engine])

Combat FS 2/3 was nice, I use FS2004 w/ the PMDG addon and textures addon, looks 1337.
Need that FSX one, gives me a reason to upgrade.

LockOn, the last worthy combat flight simulator, you can fly the F-15, A-10, Su-27, Mig-29, and Su-25, it is a really good game.
Other would be Flight Simulator X.
