Ubisoft has got a first person shooter coming out that doesn't have the Tom Clancy name attached to it. The game is called Haze and it is being developed by Free Radical. We have a brand new developer diary for you to download. This is the second developer diary video to be released for the game. Just in case you missed the first one we have that for you to download as well.
Haze is a futuristic shooter set in the year 2048. The game was a featured part of Ubidays. This developer diary actually follows the development of the demo for Ubidays. The game is set in a future dystopia where governments have outsourced military operations to Private Military Corporations (or PMCs). You play a newly enlisted soldier in a PMC called Mantel Global Industries. Soliders are provided with a performance enhancing supplement (although I don't think it is of the Viagra kind of performance enhancement) called Nectar. This has given them a feared status amongst the terrorist and local dictator community (of which I think there are a few in this future vision).
