RB6 Vegas "Anyone here still play?"

What FPS are you currently playing? If vegas, what server?

For me it is still Vegas and BF2. Currently Playing RTS = Company of Heroes.

Also, is Vegas one of those PC against Xbox games. Some guys on one of the servers are saying they are on an xbox. That must be what happened here. 18 kills 6 deaths. lol

I play it on the Xbox 360, and I'm not too shabby either. Favorite map is Border Town. I usually play Team Sharpshooter, but I play others as well.

Your going to find alot more XBOX players with R6: Vegas than PC users these days. Thats because Ubi did a piss poor job porting over Vegas to the PC and multiplayer aspect of Vegas is/was plagued with bugs and other annoyances. This has lead to the serious decline and virtual death of Vegas as a noteable game on the PC. Most people have since moved on to other games and one of them probably being Ghost Recon : Advanced Warfighter 2 instead of waiting on Ubi to get around to correcting the issues (of which they've yet to fully do to this very day). Basicaly, Ubi dropped the ball on this game, which had a ton of promise and a very enjoyable single player experience but was not enough to save it.

BTW, I have Vegas but I don't even bother with the multiplayer any longer. Love the game, multiplayer via the PC side just blows...

I can agree w/ that. The sound bugs really kill it, then you have the network bugs, oh and the punkbuster bugs. ect.

It is a great game! For some reason, I stopped playing it, but I might get back to it again.

Oh yeah, I don't suffer from bugs because I'm on an Xbox 360, but does it look better on PC?

Almost not a fair comparison because the graphics level is dumbed down for multiplayer on the PC side. This was obviously done intentionaly because of the high demand the game graphics place on the system. Heck, you have to have a SM 3.0 capable video card of at least a 7600GS or x1600 series just to squeak out enough FPS under medium settings!

XBOX360 owners dont have to worry about this and thats because the game was designed first and foremost for the gaming counsel platform. The PC version was just an afterthought...

Heck, I just finally clocked Final Doom last week! Been playing that one on and off for about 5 or 6 years. That was only on the "ultra-violence" difficulty level, though. I suppose I have to go back and do it all on "nightmare" now. Come to think of it, I don't think I ever clocked Doom 1! That could spell trouble.

Also I'm still playing Unreal Tournament a bit. Been stuck at the same point for about three years, I just can't beat the Koos Galleon on Masterful.

So far, GRAW 2 didn't wow me. After the duck and cover move in Vegas, any other FPS seems absolutley bland when it comes to evasion maneuvers.

It will finally get a patch on Tuesday which will also include the Red and Black packs the console users have already.
We'll see if its been fixed or just glossed over with the new maps(wouldnt be the first time...)
