Hey i kno theres a thread for this but i thought this mite be faster. i am installing game and i get to the part where you put Language in and press ok. So i do that then this error comes up... The current version of the application could not be determined. The setup will now terminate. .. what do i do?

You thought this might be faster?:mad: Next time just spend a little time searching before posting ANYTHING.

Now, are you using a hacked version or CD-Key?

Found Solution .. Enjoy..

Reinstall the installation InstallShield software.

Click on the Start button.
Click on Run.
Type C:\Program Files\Common Files into the text box and press OK.
Right-click on the InstallShield folder, and choose rename.
Change the name to InstallShieldOld.
Start the game installation again to reinstall the InstallShield components with the newest version.

Wow man he just asked for somebodys help in the first place and bam u get pissed. And asked if he was hackina key

ANYWAY I am using hacked versions of almost anything...so? They usually cause problems

And I didn't get pissed. I just told him to search before posting anything.....We all should do that

Not much sense on using a hacked version for BF2142, single player sucks hairy balls :p

Can anyone tell me why I don't have any resolutions past 1024x768 with bf2142? Everything is updated etc...

Use this command line:

"D:\Games\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024 +eaAccountName ******* +eaAccountPassword ****** +soldierName ******

You can use whatever resolution you want that way.

But ppl, remember this all is on the other thread, this one should be closed...
