Splinter Cell DA HUGE graphical problem

Hey guys.

I just bought Splinter Cell Double Agent today and well....iam having some major problems graphically with it!

Check my specs for more info..I can play this game on high settings.

Here is 2 pics to show you my problem!..Pictures speak loader than words for this topic!

These pics are taken in the training level A. Notice...there appears to be some sort of shadow or something going through the characters..almost....something very evil has sucked his whole body in but sept half his head!!! heh!

One pic shows him crouched.

NOTE: In campaign...his head is completely gone! all you can see is his backpack, weapons, items and googles.

I tryed on the UBIsoft forums...but thats dead.

Anyone help me here?

I have the latest graphics driver and DirectX drivers.

the game is not compatible with the 8800..

The -ll line was used to get the game to run, not fix the graphic issues.

One thing you can do to avoid maps that seem empty or void of objects, is to make sure AA and any HDR mods or Nhancer HDR+AA compatibility settings are off.

Personally, I was able to get it to run, and get rid of the graphic issues. My problem, was that the game was in fast forward type mode. Everything was like chip-munk speed.

I just junked it.

ouch!

Well after doing some of the things mentioned there I managed to get the game running perfectly! no weird shadows and the graphics have been enhanced greatly :)

All I needed to do was disable themes by right clicking the SplinterCell4.exe and going into properties....I cant beleave something like that would ruin a game!! But anyway...The game is good...only...I prefer Chaos Theroy!
