Battlefield 2 resolution change in Vista

Im having problems getting my native resolution with bf2..

I have the "target line" as follows: G:\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050

Well according to my book that should allow me to run my native res, but in BF2 video options it does not let me set it to this... WHY lol

Im going to blame this one on Vista cause of all the non-common problems arising with many things in Vista/software drivers/crap :D lol.
Even though its not nice to put blame on others, I swear I done everything to the book on installing my razor software and it still installs french when I chose english. (I cleaned my registry already too)/

Well I dont have time to install XP for a bit and I just bought this game so I could enjoy some real fps gaming.

but I'm using szx fro 1680 and szy for 1050, we've tried a few different methods but soon Im going to crash.

lol i've tried to put my resolution to 16:10 a few times, but if bf2 detects a resolution different than the provided ones, punkbuster is going to think you're hacking, don't try it.

yeah I read that EA conciders widescreen hacking.. guess it gives you more view area than regular screens maybe?

Well guess I'll have to set the thing in ati toolbar so I have bars on the side of my monitor (run my screen in given res).

Dammit that sucks lol, but hopefully this works ok for me. I like my widescreen gaming.
