I'm pretty sure that many of you played (or at least heard) of this game.
So, my question is: What is a good group for Legions of Damned?
Because it so easy to play with Human race, but it is so hard to play with demons.
What am I'm doing wrong?

Ohh.. Long time ago, it feels like. I played the demo for a while and I loved the idea but hated the lack of enemies. It was impossible to beat your enemy on the demo map because you couldn't level up and become strong enough to beat him.. Soo very annoying, and therefore I stopped playing it.

So well, I can't answer your question.. But you did make me interested in the game once more. :)

i played the demo...
by the "enemy" you mean the guardian in the main Human tower?
that is not who you supposed to kill, all you have to do is kill the group in the library, in the middle of the map and that is pretty easy.
as far as guardian, you can certainly kill him but not in the demo because there is not enough to fall back on

I don't remember really.. I did like everything on the map though, fought everything and killed everything but that last d00d, and I didn't complete the map or anything.. Must've done something wrong.

Maybe I should pick it up again, then? I'm tempted.. It wasn't a bad game, the main reason I didn't bought the full game was that I was a Hereos of M&M-addict back then. Still is, to tell the truth (wich is the reason I don't touch that game anymore, if I do I spend weeks/months in front of my computer and that's not healty).

well, i spend quite a lot of time in front of pc too, but not because of games
as for Disciples 2, it can be addictive and it could take a whole day to finish 1 map
i really enjoy the battles and this kinda darker side of humanity
If you really don't want to spend too much time, then this game might not be for you unless you will put alarm clock so you would know that its time to go and do something...
i personally can quit games at any time, well almost, i just can't play too much in my situation...

That's not the problem.. I can quit games, the thing is I don't want to quit Heroes 3 when I have it. It's the best game ever made, and well.. After a few thousand hours in it it feels like I should let it go. :p

I bought D2 Gold, the complete set with bonus quests, for $10 at Wally World. Didn't come with any type of play manual. The trianing for new players was horible! verry frustrated trying to figure it out, and just gave up on it. I feel it has got to be the worst 10 i've spent on a game. so ya I've got it / played it and was not impressed.

hehe, i had the same experience in the beginning, but then I said: "I will learn how to play this #@$%^@# game!"
and i found out that it is a brilliant game, but yeah, it is very unfriendly for beginners...

i didn't play Heroes

You didn't? If you think disciples is good, the you MUST try Heroes III Complete! It's not quite the same, but it's bigger. Also, if you run the mod in the Wake of Gods your units level up too.

Anyhow, you think I should go for this game?

WoG is what HoMM4 should have been, a shame the AI is still a piece of crap.

Tr00 dat is.. The upside with the AI's being crap is that the best thing to to with WoG is RPG-maps. IMO, at least.
