As the title of the thread states, I'm looking for a program that will monitor the temp of my cpu. I tried the programs from the sticky thread and none of them worked properly. Please help.

When it comes to "Properly" there realy are none. You just need to find the one that works for you. You could try 10 diff and get 10 diff results. Just choose the one you want and check your temps at Stock Settings. Use that measurement as your "controll". Then use the same program during OC'n to monitor the changes. Remember the Temp monitor in BIOS should give you an alarm or shutdown before any damage is done, so leave that one on. Even the temp monitors on the CPU from the manufacturer don't always work "properly", but they are probably the best one to ensure you don't kill it.

Use Coretemp. Shows the temps of each individual core.
