my dvd/cd writer doesn't work please help!!

my dvd/cd writer starts to read disc then it just stops.every once in awhile it will read a disc if im lucky it reads and loads a dvd i have all the time but i cant get it to read most discs.it it used to work fine but not anymore.i have a lite-on dvdrw sohw-1633s drive.
please help me!!!!!!!!

tbh myself whenever my dvd drive stops working for me i just buy a new one they're so cheap it makes no odds to me.

It means it's failing or having a dirty lens, try a lens cleaner cd/dvd or get a new drive :D
